Question:

Betreff: Roland PNC 950 not plotting correctly | Name: Bill Diaz (diazsign@davesworld.net) | 06.03.2000 17:39:40

Occasionally our plotter cuts erradically--either lines will not connect or halfway through a letter it jumps to another spot and starts cutting there. We have replaced the plastic cutting strip, thinking that would correct the problem, but this did not help. Since it doesn't happen all the time we have ruled out a problem with the plotter. We think this is software related. Any suggestions?

Dear Mr. Diaz,

it might be a communication problem, if you use the serial port (protocol should be set to "Hardware"). Please have a look at our Roland support pages at http://www.cocut.com/support/roland-e.htm.

Best regards
