Betreff: Cocut Pro/SummaCut D60 contour cutting and Reg marks? PowerWeed? | Name: Tim (digitalartist71@hotmail.com) | 14.01.2003 01:45:08
I have standard Cocut. Does anybody know if the Pro version can work with the SummaCut D60 and do contour cutting of printed graphics using univerisal registration marks manually? i.e. create the file in CorelDRAW9...place 4 reg marks around all the graphics, then move the cutters head to each reg mark and tell cocut pro the coordinates and cocut pro automaticllay cut the die lines...and take into account for any skewing? I am guessing this is what OPUS does, but the D60 doesnt have OPUS..but maybe it can do it manually instead of automatic like OPUS? Also...does PowerWeed work ok? seems like a great idea to aid in weeding small letters.

Create your file and send it to CoCut. After that place your registration marks and print the file. Now you can send the job to your plotter and read out the position of the registration marks. You can download a demo version from www.cocut.com to test this function.
I use CoCut pro with CorelDraw select (7) on a Summacut D60, everything works fine although Im only just getting round to trying the profile cutting of a printed image, however in should work in theory. Steve
