Hans, I have a customer with an old graphtec and Windows 2000 nt. He can go file print and the plotter goes but when he tryes to cut nothing happens. He doesn't even get the cutter4 to show up in his task manager. I've verified the come port and the graphtec is set to 9600 baud, and that he's not pluged into the cocut key(LPT1). We've tried the GPGL and HPGL graphtec drivers, com1 and com2. Any idea what's going wrong? Regards, Graham(Summa Tech Support)

Hello Graham, you normally have such problems, if the communication settings are not set correctly (mostly the customer forgot to set the protocol to "Hardware"). If all communication settings are set correctly you also can try to download the latest Graphtec driver from the download section of www.cocut.com. We have changed the Graphtec drivers some weeks ago to HPGL command language. Best regards Hans Friedrich Holz
