I've a verry big Problem with CoCut for CorelDraw 8. I've tried to cut something on my PNC1000A from Roland but it is not working verry well. For example when i write a text the cutter seems to lose some pixel or to get one to much so that there are some part are missing or the cutter crosses the hole thing. I've made everything just as it is said in the manuel but (set the language on mode2, conectet the dongle etc.)but it is still not running. Only one thing is strange, in the manuel is written about a black dongle and i only got a white. Could somebody help me please??????????? Thanx a lot your mike

Hello Mike, this seems to be a handshake problem. Make sure that the serial com port is set to "Hardware" (control panel, device manager, Com port) Make sure that you use the original Roland cable connection. The original cable is customized and not! similar to other null modem cables. Mode 2 is the correct setting for the mode. but make also sure that the parameter "size" is set to "expand-x". This setting makes the Roland cut an "unlimited" length. The white dongle is correct. Earlier versions were distributed with a black one. Hope this helps best regards Support rcs
