Ive got a new computer with windows XP and service pack 2 pre installed. I uninstalled CorelDraw 9, and Cocut9standard. Downloaded and installed the Cocut9standard upgrade, then reinstalled CorelDraw 9. Im still getting the "not able to find protection key" message. What do I need to do? Can anybody out there help me with this? Do I need to buy a new version of Cocut?

I have done the same as you and cocut worked fine. But today it said it again and I cannot solve the problem. We are deep in it and god help us man.
You can not work with CoCut 9 under Windows XP SP2. If you want to use CoCut under Windows XP with Service Pack 2 you have to update to CoCut 4X3.
