I cut a four color stencil tonight and it added two layers that were the same color. Is it possible to cut two layers of the same color, or any two colors at the same time. I could only figure out how to cut one color at a time or all colors at the same time.

Thanks,

John

I kind of stumbled across what I thought it was. It relates to the following sign I made:

http://homepage.mac.com/hagensieker/.Public/marines.jpg

The yellow circle inside the black circle is the same color yellow as the eagle globe and anchor Pantone 116 or something like that. The eagle globe and anchor is a fill of Pantone 116 and the circle is a line. When clicked on in CoCut instead of showing "Pantone 116V" or whatever it says......it says "Pantone 116V 2.35" .......2.35 being the width of the line.

Anyway I guess I can pull the cut on the outer circle, then pull the next cut on the same sheet. I tried it once and failed, but I should have sent the cut head back and told the machine there was a new piece of vinyl in it. It would have used the same origin point and Id have gotten the eagle globe and anchor right in the middle of the big circles.

What I think would be ideal would be to be able to select more than one layer for cutting manually in CoCut.

Lets say I had a decal that had 10 colors but I wanted to make it with 5 colors, making blues and blacks the same color......that kind of thing.

With CoCut wouldnt I have to make 10 cuts?

Let me answer my own question first the right way.............Do the color alteration in CorelDraw.

Is selective layer cutting a possiblility for a future version?

John
