Thanks Tim, Hope it dont take that long and since I just purchased CoCut I dont think I should have to pay for another upgrade just to work with a program which they claim it will. Its not like their adding new features...just got to wait till they get their copy of Illustrator CS and and see what it takes to get Cocut into the file menu...Robin

u should be able to at least export or save to EPS to such as the desktop..and then drag and drop the file onto the cocut icon? and cut that way? i use coreldraw9 (v10 and v11 coreldraw suck!) so i can cut right out of corel in a breeze.

Thanks Tim, I appriciate the time you took to make this suggestion, but I do not consider this to be very efficiant. I was told when I purchased CoCut Pro that I would be able to cut directly from Illustrator 10 and that it would not take very long for them to update the software when Illustrator CS was released. While the first part was true, the latter is not! Unfortunatly the rumors that I read about, on other Bulliton Boards, about Cocut are coming true.

Got an e-mail from tech support saying a technical update will be around the first of the year that will address this issue...thanks to those who provided support...Robin

well..thats good....i understand your frustrastion...but when new stuff comes out...sometimes it takes a bit longer until it will be finished (hopefully without major bugs). Illo CS is brand spanking new....yeah would have been nice if Eurosystems would have been working on it when the first notice of CS was coming...but we dont know the complexities of this....it will eventually show up. CS seems very promising.

I havent used cocut with illo in a long time and cant remember exactly how it functions.... but hopefully future versions of cocut pro will SUPPORT Illustrator better.... since Corel persoanlly isnt doing to swell anymore.

CoCut 12 download worked for me in CS, I did not have to pay for an upgrade, the CoCut 11 serial and dongle allowed me to download version 12.

I have Illustrator CS2 and tried to install the update to CoCut 12 but it still shows as 11.1.03. There is no export option to save my work as a Corun or anything else that looks like it would work. When I drag and drop an EPS, all I get is an error about a memory hole. Can anyone help me with this?

11.103 is the internal version number of CoCut 12.
The CoCut plugin for Illustrator CS 2 will be available with the next CoCut 12 service release.
