I updated last year to winxp with a new computer... worked great after we got the right code number, computer blew up, have new dell system will not find lpt dongle all printers work on both lpt ports error message: unable to find copy protection key how to fix this problem... thanks Paul Cueny

have not tested it yet but, there is a patch for the hasp key not found windows xp data base with service pack 2 ran program (hldrv32.zip) this corrects the hasp key missing or cannot find problem in WIN XP-sp2 hope it works for all, to not have to upgrade till neccessary Paul
I had same problem, upgraded from win 2000 to xp pro svp-2 and this error is coming once in while, now would you please tell me where the program (hldrv32.zip) is, and how can i install it? will that work out? thank you
